In the fall of
2006, the Texas Dept of Criminal Justice awarded a contract to Nortex Modular
Space for the construction of a new 3,000 square foot Visitation Center for its
Goree Unit in Huntsville, Texas. The project featured a poured-in-place concrete
foundation, decks, steps and ramps, site applied stucco exterior finish, a
site-built entrance canopy, high interior (hard) ceilings, painted sheetrock
walls and ceiling, restrooms, private offices, utility connections, and
commercial grade finishes. The project was completed in April of 2007.
