The U.S. Army at Fort Hood awarded a contract to Nortex Modular Space in 1998 for the construction of five only 36' x 60' mobile office buildings for its Forward Test Center in Killeen, Texas. The buildings featured a steel exterior siding and roofing, wall mounted central HVAC, metal steps, private offices and restrooms. The project was completed in 90 days.
