In December of 2002, the General Services Administration awarded Nortex Modular Space the three year lease of a custom five unit modular office building, 3,300 square feet in total, to include installation of a poured-in-place concrete foundation and stucco exterior. The building complies with the 146 mph wind load requirements of the Dade County location near Miami, Florida and features commercial finishes and an 8'8" interior ceiling height.

Nortex entered into a joint venture agreement with Affordable Structures of Tampa, Florida to manage all aspects of the project and the project was completed in June of 2003.
